One Lou is a hip-hop artist, writer, and record producer. Having been through his own trials and tribulations -- he now seeks to inspire and encourage those that have faced similar struggles, by teaching them that there’s a positive way out of any circumstance. This is further conveyed through his music as you can feel him pour his emotions on wax. This is why the New York born, Florida native, Colorado based artist has caught the attention of DJ Drama, This Is 50, Earmilk, Hip Hop Since 1987, Vocal, Underground Hip Hop Blog, and many other distinguished publications. But, he is just getting started -- and ready to let you into his world and show you what comes next: which are music videos for his new songs, "Benz Coupe" and "Yeah". He’s also recently released his latest album, "The Generator", mid March 2022.
Many artists would be afraid to take risks and dabble in different genres of hip hop, but not One Lou. That is evident in his “The Generator” album as it features a mixture of contemporary hip-hop, old school, trap, R&B, and conscious hip-hop. One Lou’s lyrics are influenced by his own experiences, visions, and goals. While the entirety of his music draws inspiration from artists like J. Cole, Anderson .Paak, Russ, T.I., Joyner Lucas, Master P, Tupac, Biggie, Gucci, Kodak Black, Real Boston Richie, Jay Z and many others.
